About Pete

A multi-talented multi-instrumentalist, his music has now been used in films, television and media in countries across the globe.

He has contributed to films such as Letter to Brezhnev; Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels; Lost Boys and Mortal Kombat.

Despite being classically trained...Pete's main composing tools are his faithful computers and a myriad of both real and software-based instruments.

His composing career started in the 1990's when he wrote for Carlin Production Music Library.

Pete studied classical flute and piano at Liverpool Matthay School of Music before going on to become a successful freelance Producer and Engineer, working with bands such as AC/DC, Echo & The Bunnymen, OMD, The Charlatans and many, many more.

Along the way, he picked up many platinum and gold Disc Awards and number one chart positions.

He has a love of obscure instruments such as English Bagpipes, Hurdy-Gurdy, Theremin and Willow flute – all of which feature in his music from time to time.
